JCHS Hires Digital Archivist

The Jackson County Historical Society is committed to preserving and providing material to the public. WIth this in mind, JCHS recently hired Erin Gray as our new Digital Archivist. Erin’s role will focus primarily on digitization of the Wilborn Collection. Erin is working on providing unique metadata for photograph records, scanning images, and uploading weekly batches to our new PastPerfect Web Based Database for the public to view images for research and purchase. Erin started with JCHS in August 2021 as a volunteer and was promoted to her role on December 1st.
