Truman Courthouse renovation program tomorrow.....

In cooperation with the Independence Heritage Commission, Jackson County Historical Society Executive Director Steve Noll will conduct a lunch-and-learn program on the history of the Jackson County Truman Courthouse on Independence Square. The presentation will offer insights into the earliest days of the structure, and include a preview of the renovations currently underway, leading to the reopening on the building in late summer 2013.  Lecture at the Truman Memorial Building, 416 W Maple Ave, Independence, Missouri.
