On Memorial Day 2013, the rain is falling everywhere,

so why not consider a local history expedition today?  Head out to  the 1859 Jail and Marshal's Home Museum, located at 217 N. Main Street, in nearby Independence.  We are open our regular schedule, 10am to 4pm, and it is always dry in the Cell Block!  Located at the corner of Truman Road and Main Street, free parking is available south across Main Street, so dash in and see the place that Frank James called home back in 1882.
