JCHS Hires New Archivist/Education Director

Archivist/Education Director for JCHS

The Jackson County Historical Society is thrilled to welcome Danielle Hall as our new archivist/education director. Danielle is a recent graduate from Emporia State University with a Master’s degree in Library Sciences. She also has experience coming from the Kansas State Historical Society. Danielle’s primary focus will be management of the JCHS archives and artifact collections, assisting in research requests, acquisitions, and exhibits. As education director her emphasis will be creating programing for adults and children, continuing our First Grade Tour program with the Independence School District and expanding into other school districts and regional colleges.
