Jackson County Historical Society trying to preserve Kansas City Chiefs history

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. —

Inside the Historic Truman Courthouse on the Independence Square, the Jackson County Historical Society tells the story of the county from before its founding in 1826 to now.

"We're a small little area," said Danielle Hall, archivist and education director for the historical society. "But we have a lot of history here."
