Teen Lock In!

Come get locked in at the 1859 Jail Museum! Jackson County Historical Society and Mid-Continent Public Library- North Independence Branch are hosting a Teen Lock-In at the 1859 Jail Museum on July 19th from 4-6PM. Come enjoy snacks, games, and crafts with us! Teens can also talk to our resident ghost experts about paranormal experiences at the 1859 Jail, This is a free event for ages 12-18. Disclaimer: As parent/guardian, I give permission for my teen to participate in the Teen Lock-In at the 1859 Jail Museum on July 19th from 4 to 6PM. By signing this agreement, I understand my teen will be participating in programs that includes films rated PG to PG13. I will have transportation arranged to pick up my teen at 6PM from the 1859 Jail Museum. As teen, I understand that I follow the rules of the 1850 Jail Museum and the instructions from staff and volunteers. I will respect the staff, volunteers, and other teens at this event. As teen and parent/guardian, we understand that if there are any issues, JCHS staff will contact parent/guardian to pick up the teen at any time during the event.
