Researcher’s Forum (2/05) This
page is devoted to patrons’ research queries for which we have not been able
to answer, because there has not YET been anything donated to the Society
relating to their topic or subject matter. Can
you provide information to help answer these unanswered research queries? Information on
"Drakemore". Drakemore was a real estate promotion in the 1895-1905
timeframe, the brain child of one Dimmick Daniel Drake. Drakemore even had
its own Post Office from 1898 to 1902, and extended from about 47th St to
83rd St, from Wornall to the Paseo. It was annexed to Kansas City before WWI.
I am doing some research on Drake, and only have the slightest data on his
residence in Kansas City from the mid-1880's to about 1905. Any suggestions
you might be able to give me would be greatly appreciated. Bob Rezny Phone: 816.252.7454 Fax: 816.461.1510 e-mail
